I am a full-time freelance translator based in Brighton, UK. In addition to my commercial work, I volunteer as a communications manager for the award-winning translated literature publication Asymptote Journal. Before becoming a translator I worked as a bookseller and professional book reviewer.
I especially enjoy translating arts-related texts, as I have a longstanding personal interest in theatre, circus and performance. When not translating I read sci-fi, memoirs and literary fiction in all of my languages, knit, and keep freshwater fish.
The cost of translation and bilingual proofreading of translated texts is based on the number of words in the original text. For non-editable scanned or handwritten documents, the rate will be per page. Editing of texts written in English is charged at an hourly rate.
